Effects of hydrogen on the fracture toughness of 42CrMo4 ...

The aim of this paper is to study the effect of hydrogen on the fracture toughness of 42CrMo4 steel quenched and tempered at 500, 550, 600, 650 and 700 °C. The influence of hydrogen was assessed by means of fracture toughness tests carried out on compact CT specimens, pre-charged with gaseous hydrogen in a pressurized reactor at 19.5 MPa and 450 °C for 21 h.sp.info Effects of hydrogen on the fracture toughness of CrMo and ...Yield strength of 149 ksi with fracture toughness of 307 ksi√in. at liquid nitrogen temperature, and yield strength of 195 ksi with fracture toughness of 232 ksi√in. at liquid helium ...sp.info Plane-strain fracture toughness of AISI 4140 steel ...sp.info Evaluation of toughness in AISI 4340 alloy steel ...Evaluation of Toughness in AISI 4340 Alloy Steel Austenitized at Low and High Temperatures ROBERT O.
